I concur with PTMAN as I am a really big fan of our symbol of Freedom. Sgt Barabass and myself are going to MPD today to check ont he welfare of nesting “friends.”

Thanks for the comment, PTMAN! While I appreciate the clarification, I recognized that the bird above me was in fact a bald eagle (there’s a nested pair that resides in a tree on the outskirts of the Academy grounds).
When writing yesterday’s post, I simply found it more powerful to say that I saw the bird, and then include a picture of it so that readers could come to this realization on their own.
